Sort of a tribute to Black Sad :)

I had to redraw this after already working on it for a few hours because it wasn't turning out as good as I hoped. ...so then I got this!

The MOST Majestic

These were done upon request from my little cousin Gina. After a long day and much yummy foodstuffs, we were all feeling a little loopy, and thus the majestic magicalness that is David the unilion, Betsy the hippopotamus, and Pete the hipstermingo were born. She's pretty awesome, you should check out her tumblr. :)

AND it JUST so happened that these doodlies fit our theme for December! Huzzah.

Also I really wanted to share them with you.

So I realize this isn't quite a sketch and I'm spoiling you with detailed work that I might not be able to do again later but NO MATTER. It's because I love you, that's why. :)

Boomsday: The Baby Shower

This monstrosity was not only drawn for Sketchadors, but also for the monthly contest at the Pencil Mileage Club at CSUF.

It was by far the most epic/complicated digital piece I've ever done. Can't say I'll have this much time to spend on my next piece... but here's to hoping!

No. 1 - Avatar the Last Airbender

October's theme: Avatar: The Last Airbender

This collablog will work a little different in that the monthly theme will be announced at the END of each month (as opposed to the first day). There are two reasons for this:

1. Who doesn't like a little suspense!? As the posts come out, you can try to guess the theme by seeing how all the pieces relate to each other.

2. When reading backwards through the archive, you'll know what the theme is before you see the pieces.

Huzzah! Now prepare for more Sketchador aweesomeness in the weeks ahead!

Aaaand coming in very late is my addition to October's theme!
Here's Zuko, in all his angsty glory. :)

I'm so glad he got less annoying in the final season. Haha my favorite episode was the one where they went to watch the avatar play and poked fun at themselves. MUST FIND THE AVATAR.

Enjoy, girlies! (Everyone I know has had at least a minor crush on Zuko. Don't even deny it.) I was tempted to do something romance-y, but I didn't and I'm glad.

Off to do next months! (It's December as I write this. Sigh. I'm sorry.)

Above is a silly self portrait of myself in an odd pose, because I do that often. I suppose introductions are in order. My name is Stina. Or Stinar. Or Stinasaur. Or some variation of all of the above. Sometimes I fancy myself a dinosaur, and sometimes I'm just a regular ol' college student trying not to procrastinate too much on everything I do (NOT like this picture, of course, which was CERTAINLY not completed mere hours before the end of August...) I like cupcakes and kittens and most ALL things to do with art. :)
